Management World 2008 (formerly TeleManagement World) meets again in sunny Nice (May 18-22) and TelecomTV will be doing its bit to beam the proceedings out to those attending as well as those unable to make the trip in person.

Management World is the TM Forum's must-attend event for the global communications, information and entertainment industry. The TM Forum has expanded its remit to include and attract the fast expanding range of players inhabiting the communications ecosystem - content providers and applications developers, Internet players and cable operators, they're all involved in the development of the TM Forum standards and frameworks.

In Nice we're providing TM Forum TV - part of the TelecomTV network - and amongst other things we'll be streaming the highlights of the conference and interviewing the key participants. You can watch them on your own computer screen so make sure you catch the keynote addresses. This year there's an antipodean theme with Sol Trujillo, CEO of Australia's Telstra and Paul Reynolds his opposite number over at Telecom New Zealand both addressing the conference. We're also going to be providing an online news service - rounding up the product launches, issues and announcements as they happen and packaging them so you don't miss anything.

Management World will be even bigger and better this year. There's a bumper Catalyst Showcase where TM Forum members demonstrate their ability to use standards and explore solutions for the industry. One of those Catalyst Projects is 'Building Marketplaces with Managed Syndicated Services' for which TelecomTV is producing a special publication, Syndicate!, sponsored by Microsoft.
